Red Lobster Is Offering Cheddar Bay Biscuit Gift Boxes For the Holidays

When we look back on it, there's little doubt that 2020 will go down as perhaps the most frustrating and unpredictable year in many of our lives. Things have been generally pretty crappy since March, and there's no telling what the holidays will have in store for us. To wit, we could probably all use a special gift— even if it happens to come from Red Lobster.

Just in time to brighten the holidays, Beyonce's favorite seafood chain (if lyrics are any guide) will help facilitate the gifting of their fan-favorite Cheddar Bay Biscuits by letting you order them with a limited-edition, festive gift box. Starting on November 16, anyone can order a half-dozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits to go from Red Lobster's website and add the festive gift box for just $1 more while supplies last. You can pick them up to hand-deliver them, or else punch in a friend or loved one's address for convenient, touchless delivery.

Given how fiercely devoted some Red Lobster fans are to those cheesy, savory biscuits, there are a lot of excuses to get them boxed up for gifting right about now.

"Whether you're searching for a unique gift to give a loved one you can't physically be with, or looking to reward yourself for finishing a tough year strong, our Cheddar Bay Biscuit gift boxes are guaranteed to serve up some much-needed warmth and comfort this holiday season," Deanna Kotch, Red Lobster's VP of Marketing, said in a press release.

If you're looking for something a little more substantive to cater a small, socially distanced holiday affair, Red Lobster is also dropping a line of Holiday Party Platters full of seafood favorites. Choose from the Chilled Holiday Seafood Platter (shrimp, lobster tails, and crab meat), or the Shrimp Lover's Holiday Platter (coconut shrimp, Walt's Favorite Shrimp, and Crispy Shrimp).
