Can You Really Buy Just the Rotisserie Chicken Breast at Sam’s Club?

The $5 rotisserie chicken at Sam’s Club is reason enough to have a Sam’s Club membership. I know I buy a rotisserie chicken every time I’m at the store to shred and stash in my freezer for easy meals later—it’s just too good of a deal to pass up.

But I hate shredding the rotisserie chicken because it takes a good deal of time and I feel like I’m wasting a lot of meat that I can’t peel off the bone—or don’t want to scrape off because, to be frank, the pink parts of the chicken can give me the ick. So when I saw a TikTok that claims Sam’s Club sells its rotisserie chicken already separated I thought it was too good to be true.

The TikTok shows containers of just rotisserie chicken breasts and just rotisserie chicken legs being sold for $4. In the video, creator @cortezcookies says you’ll get four rotisserie chicken breasts in each pack. The creator doesn’t call out the number of legs in a pack, but it looks to be about four to six.

Can You Really Buy Rotisserie Chicken Breasts at Sam's Club?

Unlike with its famous rotisserie chicken, Sam’s Club doesn't advertise rotisserie chicken breasts or legs on its site. And when I went to my local club store, I couldn’t find rotisserie chicken breasts anywhere. So, I went right to the source and asked Sam’s Club themselves.

It turns out that Sam’s does in fact sell rotisserie chicken pieces at every one of its club stores. They’re sold cold—not hot like the rotisserie chicken itself—and can be found in the Home Meal Solution case with the other ready-to-eat foods, like the chicken taco kit and stuffed peppers.

The catch, and likely the reason I couldn’t find them at my store, is that they’re only sold while supplies last. So, while Sam’s continues to prep rotisserie chickens throughout the day, it only sells a limited number of cold rotisserie chicken pieces—and once it’s sold out, it’s gone for the day.

That means if you want to score the pre-cut rotisserie chicken pieces, you’ll likely have to get to Sam’s Club early—but not having to deconstruct my own rotisserie chicken makes an early Sam’s Club run totally worth it.
