Ingredients

  • 2 (8.5 oz) bags crunchy cheese curls (such as Cheetos®)

  • 1 cup light corn syrup

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 stick (8 oz) butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Pour cheetos into a large bowl.

  3. Combine light corn syrup, brown sugar, and butter in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir constantly and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 1 minute and then pour mixture over the cheetos.

  4. Working quickly, stir to coat cheetos with sugar mixture and pour them out onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread them out into an even layer.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Break any clumps into small pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
