These were very tasty. I've made two batches for home and now I'm making this along with gingerbread biscotti for gifts. This biscotti is definitely softer than traditional hard and crunchy biscotti, but still has great flavor. I haven't changed the recipe at all, other than switch the order that some things were added. Definitely worth it.

This was by FAR the easiest sugar cookie recipe I've ever used. No chilling the dough (to be fair though, it was 73degrees and low humidity here in FL today). I used butter (would NEVER use margarine). It sat on the counter for 4 hours prior and wasn't complete mush, but was very soft. The only thing I added was a 1/4t of almond extract. Followed the other instructions exactly. They are crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, very yummy. Kids just grabbed the entire first batch and ate all of them.

My two youngest (7 & 9) and I whipped this up in no time. They even ate it. Fantastic flavor, super easy to make, and as made, it's kid friendly (meaning NOT spicy). We dug into it right away, but I know the overnight time will make the flavors even more yummy. This is a must make.

I thought my kids would enjoy this, and I was right! Thought it isnt a *pretty* soup, it tastes really really good. I sauteed the veggies in the bacon grease, and added in a spoonful of sour cream in addition to the cheese and it's a total hit! For me, I wouldn't add either cheese or sour cream. Excellent recipe! This is a great recipe. We are NPC bodybuilder/bikini competitors and rice (brown and white) are staples in our diet. I was looking for a yummy off-season rice that would go great with our chicken, steak, and veggies. (found it works well with fish too). Saute the chopped onions, with the prechopped garlic for a few mins then add the rice. I sprinkle the rice with taco seasoning while I'm sauteing it along with the onions and garlic. Add chicken broth, SALSA, bring to a boil and cover it. The first time I made it I had to keep adding salsa &/or broth because it cooked down very quickly even on low. Really good. We add chipotle shake spice and cayenne to taste. Made with the pollo fajitas recipe from this site.
