Extraordinary aroma fills your home while the bread is baking! A few changes made as suggested by many reviews: 3/4 c brown sugar + 1/ 1/4 cup white sugar. 1/2 c oil + 1/2 c applesauce. Definitely add the tiny bit of nutmeg! Made 2 regular bread loaf pans and baked 1 hour.

We loved this! Yes a few changes were: double the recipe and serve over cooked large shell pasta. I added 3 Chipotle peppers and sauce. Didn’t have green bell pepper so I used frozen sweet corn instead. Since a few folks here like a little less spice I added 2 cups sour cream for the double recipe. Will make this over and over.

Mine doesn't look like the photo that comes with this recipe for I mashed it all pretty well. I actually had to adjust the quantity of milk higher because I had a bit more vegetables than the recipe calls for. But mashed well, it turned out to have awesome flavor, a definite comfort food.

Made it just like the recipe and used a glass bowl casserole, buttered. Makes a giant loaf like an enormous muffin. Everyone loved it and was the first time any of my friends had it. Definitely let it cool 10 minutes and loosen it from the pan before cooling on a rack.

Excellent! Added one more egg. Family loved it and one who “hates” pineapple raves about it and was shocked when I told him it was in it. Really great hot but good for a few days cold, with whipped cream on top.

Best ever I cooked! I soak liver in milk for several hours. It removes an “off taste” some people don’t like. When done, it is so tender you don’t even realize right off it’s ordinary liver. Melt in your mouth.
