I make this for all holiday mornings and our family and friends love it! I use a large baking dish, the 16ounce can of biscuits, and it comes out a little drier than I would like so I use 8-10 eggs and a little less than one cup of milk. I also use a little more than the 1.5 cups of water for the pioneer gravy mix (almost the full 2 cups)... I don’t tend to have too much sausage grease once cooked so I don’t dispose of anything and just add it all in!
First time attempting a new style of cooking...I used ground turkey and like some others, I cut garam Marsala in half and added a little cumin, red pepper, and curry powder! I put it over brown basmati rice and I made a homemade Greek yogurt cucumber sauce to go with (also from AR)! Served with some naan on the side... yummy!
Yummy!! I virtually doubled this recipe and did little measuring in the way of ingredients, but I did use fresh cherry tomatoes and cut them in half length-wise and used my fresh basil! So light, fresh and will be my Fourth of July Picnic Pasta salad today!
