I think this recipe is a keeper. I would definitely add more mushrooms to the sauce during the simmertime because I love mushrooms. I served with a veggie rice pilaf I would add mushrooms to that next time also. Added fresh parsley to both right before serving. Cook time is accurate and necessary. Do not recommend trying to take shortcuts.
Love it - instructions are missing the pepper and some of the steps. If I would not have watched the video they would have been missing. I included some Italian parsley also
I give the recipe a 5 star for ingredients but the 13" x9" pan is WAY oversized - the mixture barely filled a corner. I used a 9" x 7" so there was a balance of tots to mixture
