Made as written then added 1 tsp vanilla into batter. DO NOT bake this for the time listed! I realize everyone’s ovens are different but at 40-45 minutes, you’ll end up with a nearly burned, super dry cake! I recommend you start checking it at 35 minutes and so on.
This was my first time making or trying a Dutch Baby. It wasn’t as sweet as I was expected but still really good! I did increase the vanilla to 1/2 tsp and only had reconstituted lemon juice but still turned out great!
Super easy and delicious! The most difficult part of making this was actually finding the butter pecan cake mix! I made it exactly as written in a 9x13 pan and topped with cream cheese frosting. So good!!
