A favorite recipe from the last 7 years!! I use one pint of whipping cream instead on 1/2 pint, I did this accidently once and I kept doing it because we think is just yummier that way! Frozen rhubarb works too, I thawed mine before using it. Try it. You won't be dissapointed.

I made it almost the exact same way the recipe calls for. Only add extra half of a teaspoon of cinnamon just because we like cinnamon here, and did the lemon frosting on top like some others suggested. It is very good! I give it a 4 stars only because to me and my kids it's just like an apple pie, same taste and texture, only looks different and I was looking for a bar type of dessert. The frosting added a different note to it. I may keep doing it just because it uses more apples than my apple pie recipe and I like that it seems to have less apples in between the crust in comparison with apple pie and that for my liking is better. I guess that is something else different. Happy that I didn't waste my time but disappointing that wasn't what I was a looking for.

I love this recipe, good flavors and light texture. I rated 4 stars because I thought the amount of sugar was to high for the amount of flour it calls for it, so I decreased to a 2/4 cups, turns out delicious!

delicious! I have some raspberries that I needed to use. never made raspberry muffins before and I don't have good experience making muffins I tried this recipe and it turned out better then I was expecting. fluffy, delicate and sweet muffins. I add 2 cups of raspberries because I wanted to use all I have left and replace the raspberry extract for almond extract as other suggested because I didn't have the other ingredient. I didn't do the crumble top because I don't think I need that and it was perfect. I am so happy I gave it a try. I will keep it in my recipe box. thanks for the recipe!

its a great recipe. I added the vanilla extract as others suggested and it turned out delicious. it has a little coconut taste to it which I like, this pancakes are very fluffy and yummy! can be easily a non-dairy recipe if you eliminate the butter and substitute it for the coconut milk.

This one is a keeper. I used chicken broth instead of water and like half pound of chicken breast. I did not have poultry seasoning so I didn't use any. The rest I kept it the same, soup turn out very good! My husband and 2 years old daughter loved it.
