Delicious recipe. Turned out beautifully. Pretty light and very tasty! I made them EXACTLY as the recipe except I doubled the batch and it's a good thing I did.
This is a great recipe. my husband had never had it and loved it. I did eliminate the zucchini but added yellow bell pepper. I was going to add spinach but forgot to buy it.
Excellent meatballs,broth...all of it. My husband says we will be having it a lot this winter.
I made no changes. In the future I think I will use smoked paprika instead of the regular. Love to be able to use as much as I want instead of a packet. And there are no preservatives or "anti-caking" additives.
I didn't use the seasoned crushed tomatoes so I added some dry oregano. Also, I used half and half, and I added no salt at all and this was creamy and delicious! OH SO GOOD! And I paired it with grilled cheese on home made bread. My husband loved it.
I believe if you're going to rate a recipe do it as it's written so the rest of us know if the original recipe is good. These were perfect as written. I did make a 2nd batch with cinnamon in the batter. and it was good,too. But the crumb topping makes this special. So what if it melts into the muffin. More sweet goodness. YUMMM
