This recipe tasted great, but when I made it according to specifications, the volume was so much that when it baked and rose in my oven, some of the batter spilled over the sides and burned on the bottom of my oven.
A wonderful potato salad alternative for picky family members that don't like mayonnaise. It's very close to an old Bon Appetit recipe that I used to make years ago and can no longer find. It's great for summer parties and healthier than regular potato salad.
I love this recipe, but the only reason I've given it 4 stars is because I think it's almost impossible to add cream cheese without having it clump. I add some red wine (1/4 cup) at the beginning, and I substitute sour cream for cream cheese.
Great! I've always wanted to make my own sauce, and this works really well. The only problem I had was that the recipe seemed to have a greater proportion of meatballs than sauce. I always add a bit more spice and garlic to Italian recipes, and I did with this one as well.
