Absolutely perfect! I had a prime rib roast that had been the freezer for awhile. I was hoping that brining would bring back the freshness and flavour. This one did it! I also used the instructions for cooking that was in these reviews. At 8lbs I put the roast on at 500° for 40-45mins then turned the oven off and left it for 2hrs. It cooked to a perfect medium rare throughout. I made gravy from the drippings, and it was glorious! I'm making it again this weekend.

Hot ! This was absolutely loved by the family. I added the juice of half a lemon to the sauce, so I added 1/4c of maple syrup to balance it. After it was cooked I fried the pulled pork in a frying pan with a few ladles of the sauce from the crock pot for about a minute or two (until the sauce disappears into the meat) and I added an extra bit of BBQ sauce. Perfection!
