This recipe is delicious, it simmered all day in our crock pot, the aroma was mouth watering! My husband cannot eat celery, so we used celery salt instead of table salt and added 1/2 tsp celery seed as well, also mashed about 2 cups to thicken. Served it up with cornbread, the meal was outstanding, looking forward to tomorrow’s leftovers, thanks for the recipe.
