Grilled up a Costco sized bag of asparagus and made this with the leftovers. Delicious! Love the addition of the mushrooms and wine — they make the flavor brighter and more complex. Serve up with a buttered roll and enjoy!

I shouldn’t say I made this exact recipe, but it helped! I made the filling from this recipe and put it in a double crust rather than using the crumb topping. Turned out delicious!

Great flaky pie crust with enough heft to stand up to really juicy apples and pears. I had a hard time rolling out the dough — it kept tearing — but I think that was more user error than anything.

Filling is great — a little sweet, a little tart, a lot delicious. My pie is a little sunken because I was using up some produce and didn’t quite have enough for my 10” pie pan, but it tasted great.
