these are great. I always boil my potatoes for just a couple minutes, depending on how thick they are 1st
like someone else said, make sure they are dry and leave them alone to cook. Nature's Seasoning by Mccormick is so good on them
my family's favorite way to have potatoes
this was fantastic!!! will make it again for sure
it only got 4 stars because it was kinda soupy. next time I'll use less chicken broth, for-go the butter and add a little heavy cream
I added spinach at the end and it was great addition.
over all, a great winter time recipe!
I varied a bit as well. I didn't have bread crumbs so I topped it w crushed lemon/lime tortilla chips. to the soup mixture I added some dried onion and garlic
the only thing I'd change next time is adding the cheese to it at the end. great recipe.. everyone loved it
His video tips were perfect. I would have never thought such suttle things would make such a difference. They are light and fluffy... perfect texture. I have already cut the potatoes before I watched the video but I think The Secret is in the matching. This would be the only way I make mashed potatoes from now on. Thanks chef John they really are perfect
