I've been making this recipe for over 4 decades. It came in my original Betty Crocker cookbook, but they no longer have it. I've been looking for it to give to my grown children because they love them so much. I love to serve it with steamed cabbage and it tastes just like the cabbage rolls my mom used to make when i was a kid. Glad to see it making a comeback. Btw I still have that Betty Crocker cookbook.
First time frying Bacon in the oven. I love how easy it is and will do this more often because it saves time and clean up is easy. The Bacon turned out perfect but it took 19 minutes instead of 14 minutes in my 425 degree oven not counting the 10 minute heat up time.
This is an awesome recipe because it's different. I made it exactly to recipe and it was excellent. Next time I'm going to have to make more, everyone kept coming back for more.
