Wow! These are great biscuits and they took a total of 20 minutes to make... including baking! No-brainer recipe but I had to go out for cream; everything else was in the pantry. I sifted the powdered ingredients while blending the cream, to make an easily-handled dough. I have no idea what mistakes people made to get "soupy" dough - there are only 3 ingredients and if you measure correctly, it's pretty much basic math... the dough will actually seem a bit dry. Easy to work on a powdered surface, though and they cut cleanly. My photo is hardly "magazine quality" but then I just threw these together to see if I liked them... and I did! Warm with butter and honey they are fab! I may add a pinch or two of salt next time to give them a bit more depth of flavor, but as written this recipe is fine and easy to remember. These beat canned biscuits by a mile.
