So simple! This is going to be my "go to" chili recipe from now on. Basic chili - but very good. I prepped the night before and had my husband throw in the crockpot for a couple of hours before I got home from work.
First time making homemade BBQ sauce. Love the flavor! I cut the recipe in half this first time but will make the full recipe from now on. I opted to use a Mesquite spice that I purchased in a local spice shop as opposed to Liquid Smoke. You still get the same smoky flavor without the chemicals.
Very good! To be on the safe side I cut the balsamic with chicken broth as someone suggested because I wasn't sure how my family would like the balsamic flavor. That was a good call. Next time I will add some slivered fresh garlic to give it punch. Goes great with angel hair pasta and green beans.
These turned out better than the recipe I made two weeks ago that used butter and shortening. Those fell flat, literally. This recipe makes a soft and chewy cookie that tastes like I remember Snickerdoodles tasting like when I was a kid. I added vanilla as another reviewer did.
Great pot pie - and I like the fact that it doesn't use canned soup as an ingredient. Made the way it was written, except I added some leftover roasted potatoes from last night's meal. Next time I would add a bit of salt and pepper. I try to go without salt when necessary but I am thinking that was what was lacking here.
