Like others, I made a few changes: I used less sugar and less flour. For the crumb topping I used 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup oats, and 6 Tbsps. butter. For the strawberries I used only 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 2 Tbsps. corn starch (no additional flour). I also increased the amount of strawberries to 6 cups. I always use 6 cups of fruit for my fruit pies. The consistency was spot on, and the flavor was great! Strawberries are a sweet fruit, and I don't really think that more than one cup of sugar (1/2 C for topping and 1/2 C for filling) is necessary. It was delightful!
