Huli neswiswi

Its a great recipe as a base. I swoped all onions and herbs for my own combination of italian herbs, i added two spoons of crushed garlic over and above the powder garlic and I brushed it with a butter garlic amd herb mix when it came out the oven because my family likes soft crusts. But even then the cheese wa soft in between the individual buns etc. I so used a rectangle cake tray but it still came out pretty and delicious.

I loved it. My family loved it. I made it extra nutty so i used 2 cups nuts and I added a teaspoon vanilla extract

It was absolutely delicious. The pastry rose like a baby muffin but that might be because I made mini tarts. I think next time I will leave out the baking powder. But overall the flavors were delicious. I added some coconut to the pastry because my family absolutely goes nuts for coconut in virtually anything.

Used butter instead of oil and the salt was a tad bit too much but not overbearing. I actually used a normal frying pan to fruit, just put some oil in the pan when you fry it. I brushed the rotti with a melted butter as soon as they came out the pan and placed them in a sealed container so as to ensure they dont come out hard. Lastly I’d say fry them on high heat but dont dry them too long.

This reciepe works even after I botched basically every step. But it was simple to make I was in a eish so I measured with my eye and not actual measuring utensils but still they came out good. I didn’t have a donut cutter so i made a twsited shape and I didn’t want the sugar to come through icing so I made a light glaze and dusted them with coconut. My family LOVED them.

Iv made this cake before so this time i wanted to see how far I could stretch it. I doubled the reciepe and added a some cinnamon, bran, vanilla, carrots and a spoon of treacle to make it more earthy in flavor. It was amazing.
