I, too, did not wait very long before making these divine pancakes! Maybe they would be better if I did, but I was pretty pleased with them. I also added more vanilla, but I do that with most things b/c I like the flavor it gives. Overall, very good for made from scratch pancakes!
Turns out perfectly everytime! I add a little more confectioners sugar to the cream cheese mixture, but it's always amazing! Also, don't skimp on the shortening on the pan and the liner! It will make life easier when you roll the dessert!
They were fantastic! I did like the others and just waited a few minutes and they were still amazing...I did add a tablespoon of vanilla, too and SUPERB!!! The fresh blueberries were great, too. Definitely will make again!
Absolutely amazing! Personally, I am not a huge fan of potato soup and am not much of a ham person, but on a rare cold night in Florida I wanted something warm and wintery....decided to try this based on all the great ratings. SO HAPPY I DID!!!! I used red potatoes, skins on and I omitted the chicken granules and used half chicken stock and water. Did not use a bit of salt, but did add some thyme and pepper and that was it!!!!! My husband raved about it for days and a week later requested I make it for his parents when they came over for dinner. I'm about to start prepping it now! Definitely try this one for your winter rotation! :o)
For ease, this recipe was great. Unfortunately, I didn't have unsweetened chocolate and used semi-sweet along with the mix of brown and white sugars. The mix tasted pretty good, but once backed, they were too sweet. I would like to try again with the correct chocolate or maybe the cocoa powder mixture.
