Delicious! I made this yesterday because I happened to have a bag of rather hard dates in the back of the pantry. I used dark brown sugar and it was lovely. My husband and I enjoyed it so much that I’m making another one as I type this
I made these for a quick breakfast today and they were delicious. I personally would half the salt as I prefer my food undersalted and would add a tiny bit (maybe 1/4 tsp of sugar). Overall I was surprised at how beautifully fluffy they were and tasted delicious. Would make these again
Absolutely delicious! The only difference is I half the sugar and I feel like that’s sweet enough for us. I also add in about 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and allspice along with the cinnamon, a handful of raisins instead of cranberries and about 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. I baked it in a 9x13 pan for 30 mins. I personally eat it warm with milk, so good!
As an Indian, this is so good that it makes me mad haha! I was a bit skeptical because it was different from the tikka masala I typically make in terms of ingredients (I did add a few extra things but it’s not necessary). However, the flavor is delicious, I added around 1/2-1 tsp of sugar and added garam masala in place of the curry powder as I didn’t have any. I now make this around once a month, typically with paneer or chicken.
