Used 2 C of cheddar for top. 1 C would just barely cover the top. I added some oregano, garlic powder, and sugar to meat mixture to make it more savory (the sugar cut down on the acidic tartness of the tomatoes). No specific measurements, just "to taste".Cook at higher temp or at least 1 hour before adding cheese to top. 45 min at 350 is not nearly long enough or hot enough.
