Made it a little different by adding Brussels, cherry tomatoes and mixing the garlic cloves in. Turned out yummy.

I used bread flour instead of all purpose flour and they turned out really well and are nice and chewy. I made them with my grandson. He wanted to make other shapes but after he made the “flashlight”, I told him we should probably stick to the standard pretzel shape.

It was so much fun making these with my grandson. They turned out a little crispier than we liked. I think next time we won’t roll them so thin and cook them less. Leave them about an inch thick and cook for 8 minutes and then maybe they’ll be softer.

Still in the oven but it sure smells good and the precooked mixed ingredients tasted great...LOL....and it was fun to make with the grand kids. This is similar to another recipe I use. The mayonnaise was a new ingredient for me so we are looking forward to tasting the finished product. Also seeing if using a glass pan vs metal pan makes a difference as I only had one of each.

NIKI W thanks for the tip using shears / scissors. It’s no fun trying to cube uncooked kingfish with a dull knife. Also do not substitute raspberry vinaigrette for Italian dressing. Gave it a funky taste. And I think I should have cooked it for 5 more minutes. But it wasn’t too bad.
