Too much sauce to enchilada ratio. Might as well make it a layered casserole. Sauce also needs tweaking, i.e., tomatillos and jalapeno. Suggest 16 enchiladas and 3 cups buttermilk, or less if you want your enchiladas presentable. Oh and a little cumin helps.
I like the simplicity of this recipe. Albeit, my KA was not happy and had to stop and take over hand kneading. LOL. I need the exercise. Rose perfectly, cooked perfectly. Taste is much like you'd expect from wheat bread. This is a repeat after I find some nice loaf pans.
It was meh. Very lacking in seasoning. Balsamic barely comes through. For the work it takes, probably not the ideal balsamic chicken recipe. Pasta takes over. Dressed with some zatarains to help it. Better, but no vinegar pungency left. Oh well, I'll keep looking for the right balsamic chicken recipe.
I wanted a creamy pasta, but lemony, so I substituted lemon juice for the vermouth and added the zest in with the mix. I also added peas. It was exactly what I was after. Thank you for the recipe. It will be used again.
