I doubled the sauce recipe. Added 1/2 cup vegetable stock… I used the simmer feature on Instant Pot. I served over egg noodles and a dollop of sour cream made it great
I used 1/3 cup white sugar, ( instead of 1/2 cup sugar) with a tablespoon of brown sugar. I also used 1 1/2 cup milk instead of 2 cups …I baked them in the Cuisinart Air Fryer oven in a hot water bath . The air fryer cut the cook time in half!
What i did was all the steps, but added 2 per cent milk, 1/4 cup and a 1/2 cup of the reserved hot pasta water.. i also stirred the pasta in a in a heated bowl to help further the cooking.
