Just okay to me. I used only two chicken breasts and didn’t add mushrooms (didn’t have any). I would make this again out of convenience because I usually always have these things around. I added a half small can of tomato paste, some carrot (for filler/nutrition) and used some creole seasoning I made from another online recipe. For the creole seasoning amount, based on previous reviews I used two tbsp but next time will use three. Also added some water for liquid to soak into the rice I made to serve with it. Next time I would use only one chicken breast because it’s just me and my b/f and we aren’t big meat eaters; I would also consider adding frozen okra to this, just to try it. Thanks for sharing!

I don't like writing critical reviews -- however I was not a huge fan of this recipe. Yes, I made one adaptation but that was only to add 4 tsp of sugar to the batter because I prefer sweeter cornbread. Other than that, I felt the cornbread came out a bit crumbly and "sticky." Overall, it was okay and I can't complain too much but it wasn't the best cornbread I've ever had.

I liked this recipe -- I used prepared store-bought vegetable broth instead of the white wine, water, and bouillon. Also used 3 tbsp of course grain mustard, 1 tbsp regular yellow mustard. I also used some flour to thicken up the sauce. Sauce is good over quinoa and vegetables as well. I would make this again.

I didn't have enough breadcrumbs but I threw in some quick-cooking oatmeal (had about 2/3 cup breadcrumbs, added 1/3 oatmeal to finish the 1 cup that the recipe called for) and it worked! I followed other suggestions and added Worcestershire sauce, doubled the sauce and used less mustard -- I think the sauce came out great. I would use this recipe again for easy but tasty meatloaf! Better than my mom's ;)

Yay! Finally, my rice turned out!! I'm always going to prepare it this way. I used brown rice and it takes a bit longer than 35 minutes -- I cooked mine for 45 minutes and it was still a little hard. An hour probably would have been best. Foolproof recipe!

A nice chicken recipe -- I used a little bit of pepper and added the parsley to the yogurt mixture. I used margarine so I'm not sure if that made a difference, but I don't think adding the pat of margarine on the top of the breasts helped to make the crumbs crispier. I also added some lemon juice to the breasts once they were on my plate, and I used nonfat greek yogurt. Good recipe, and I would make this again!
