Followed the 3-second on/off heat shaking when off to keep from burning. Used enuf oil to cover bottom of SS 2 qt pan… about 3 T. Stir in sugar before adding rest of kernels once the first 3 pop.

I use 1/2 t onion powder and 3/8 t garlic powder as substitutes… really tasty and fast.

The taste is really good but as others mentioned the timing is off. My crust was done at 17-18 min. The custard incurred big brown bubbles on top at 15 mins. but it was still vey jiggly. I turned temp down to 300 and baked another 10 mins. After resting 10 minutes, use the hot knife to loosen the browned edge before the custard hardens.

Good flavor but it was too "cakey" and sweet for our taste. Made the following changes:3/4 c flour1/3 c sugar3 t baking powder1/2 t salt1/4 c oilAdded 1 T vinegar to milk to make 1 cup total

Easy to pull together and love the overnight rise in the fridge! Nice light and fluffy roll —received lots of kudos on Christmas morning!! Thanks for the recipe!

Pretty easy and tasted good. Can put dough on wrap and use it to combine the last of the crumbs by pulling wrap into the dough, then chill.
