This soup is amazing. This is a new favorite in our home. The only thing I do not add is chicken broth. That's because I use bone-in chicken breasts so that it makes it's own broth. I first sear the chicken and cook until it starts getting color, then I add garlic and ginger, and turmeric until fragrant. Then the chili paste (I use the garlic chili pase with the rooster on it-yum!) Then I add soysauce, sugar, and water enough to cover the chicken, cover and boil until chicken is done. It gets all the flavor in the meat. Then remove and shred the meat off the bone. Return to pot and after returning to med. boil add the celery and lettuce as directed, and YUM! Separately I have cooked chinese noodles from the Asian asle. Perfect! very healthy too. Great for warding off a cold ;)
Excellent! Everyone loved these(grown-ups and kids). They were moist and almost brownie-like and the frosting tasted like gooey cherry fudge. I made them exactly according to the recipe, I only doubled for cookie and frosting. Some leftover frosting- but not alot, and kids will find a use for it ;) mmmmmm
mmm. delishious! everyone loved this in my family. just added some carrots and mushrooms, and an extra clove of garlic even though it would've been delishious without. Perfect with sour cream on top.
I found this recipe for my daughter to make for a school project. She needed something this color and texture. When we looked at the ingredients I was pretty sure it would be uber-sweet and not to our liking. Boy were we wrong! The two of us cut the shapes for her project and afterwards licked our fingers and WoW! we ate every scrap and scraped the pan. We made it for a second presentation and decided it was not fair not to make one for ourselves so we finally did.. The cake has come out every time perfectly. This cake is such a treat-even for a grown-up(not at all what I was expecting) The marshmallows bubble up through the cake making it super moist and the berries and jello make a gooey delishious jam like topping. Don't forget the whipped cream :)
