This was a good starting point. I left out the sour cream and vinegar. I used the juice of one whole lime, one whole cucumber, 2 stalks of celery, and 1/4 of a white onion. Also halved the dill (dried). Husband loved this so much he requested it again the following day. Ty for the beginning of something awesome
we really enjoyed these with some minor tweeks. used fresh orange juice and doubled it since we don't carry the frozen kind.. doubled the sage and halved the bbq sauce (jalapeno flavored). if i were to try to make these again i would cut down on the bbq sauce further bc we liked the parts that had more of the orange/sage flavors than the ones that seemed to pick up more of the bbq sauce.. either way.. ty for something different
nice starting point for trying out frozen okra.. i subbed margarine for the olive oil.. used a little less onion.. left out the bell pepper and used rotel instead of plain canned tomatoes to make up for it.. added some apple cider vinegar but think i would do lemon if i try this again.. i sprinkled chopped cilantro and green onion over the finished product.. i rang out my okra in a cloth napkin and it was minimally slimy once cooked through.. thanks for the recipe
This was perfect for leftovers. I added more mayo and mustard as it was on the dry side. Also added more pepper and hot sauce to suit bf's taste. Used celery seed (half) as the ham was already salty. Left out the caraway seeds. Threw in the celery and onion (red) in the food processor instead of at the end. Came out really good! Thanks for the recipe
this was so much better the next day. i felt like it was a little heavy on the cloves. definitely needed some whipped topping. i added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and used a store bought crust. it helped with my craving for pumpkin pie at thanksgiving but was missing something texturally. either way thank you for the recipe
this is a good starting point. bf likes his oatmeal thicker so i used 6 tbsp of greek yogurt and 3 tbsp of almond milk. i also add 1.5 tsp of chia seeds, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and some sweetner. no need to precook the oatmela. left out the banana. ty for the recipe
