Couldn't wait for a cool fall day. It smells and tastes delightful. I made couple tweaks like some of the other testers. I increased the broth to 1-1/4 cups. I added a Tbsp. of tomato paste to increase the richness as well as half a beef bouillon cube. I had ro-tel tomatoes on hand so did not add increased amount of green chiles. I used chili beans ( pinto) in place of kidney. Small, but subtle, changes just to increase the flavors. Think I'll turn the a/c down low later and pretend it's fall in South Florida. ;)

What a great, and easy bread. I made it just as it was only added some scallions for color. It's a dense bread, but very moist and flavorful. And it came out beautiful!
