So easy and so perfect! I had all the ingredients, didn’t have to worry about buttermilk or cutting the butter using a pastry blender or whatever. My family raved about them. Perfect texture. Just turn the sticky dough onto a floured surface and pat the dough flat. Made 8 BIG biscuits. My go-to biscuit recipe, after trying quite a few.

This is a very good recipe. It’s strange to me there wasn’t any salt in it. But I made it as instructed. Again, very good, it next time I’ll add salt. Or orange zest. Or both.

This is my go to recipe for cornbread now. Very fluffy. Made it in a cast iron skillet in the oven and it was tall and delicious. As directed but it took more than 45 min to be cooked.

Made these for Thanksgiving and they were a hit! Made as per the recipe.

Love it! The only change I make is to use 6 eggs. And like others, use what veggies and meat I have on hand. Never fails. Seriously never.

I love this recipe. I have made this recipe more than any other single recipe on this site. I cut them small, and make mini sandwiches for the kids' lunches. They never come back uneaten! The kids even like to help me make them.
