I used fresh raspberries & blackberries plus frozen blueberries (thawed & drained) and added 1 tsp cinnamon & 1/4 tsp nutmeg to the filling. I made this an open-faced pie with no top shell, baked it at 350F for 45 minutes, and then set it in the fridge for two hours before serving and it thickened up no problem!
Such an easy way to make cabbage rolls. This casserole obviously lack the aesthetic presentation of traditional cabbage rolls but the time you save is worth it.
Simple, hearty soup, great for the winter. I use chicken broth instead of water, and seasoned stewed tomatoes to add a bit more flavor and I love this staple soup.
This is the perfect date square recipe! I have been making these for years and they are always a favorite, even among friends who have never liked date squares in the past. I buy pre-pitted mashed dates and it makes them SO easy to make! I've also made a vegan version by substituting the butter for coconut oil and they still turned out fabulously!
Absolutely delicious flavors! I don't care for most soups as I have an aversion to liquidy textures, so I omitted the water from this recipe to make it more of a stew (I cooked the squash and lentils before hand). Served it over rice and was AMAZING! Even better the next day when the spices have been marinating the rice overnight.
