This was great! I didn’t plan ahead for this, but was able to keep to the spirit of the recipe with items I had on hand.I used a bag of frozen spiral zucchini broken apart into chunks and added some chopped garlic on top. I sprinkled gluten free bread crumbs on top followed by a can of Italian spiced tomatoes. Then I added the shredded cheese (Provel- a St. Louis thing). I am limiting fried food, so I just put salt, pepper and garlic powder on 4 chicken thighs and placed them on top. Baked uncovered for 35 minutes and wow! One pan dish and tasted wonderful!
I adapted this for pork tenderloin and it tastes wonderful! I’ve made it multiple times without much adjustment. I just adjust the cooking time for the size of meat and for the fact that I use a convection oven. I omitted brushing olive oil on the loin since pork isn’t as lean as venison and the grease from the bacon is enough for our tastes. The cream sauce makes a slice of meat special! It would also be great with pasta. Fast, easy and delicious!
By far the easiest wings I’ve ever made! I am surprised at how tasty they are. The lemon pepper is not at all overwhelming. They are crispy and delicious. No need for dipping sauce.
I left out breadcrumbs and just used more shredded Parmesan cheeses (not the grated kind in the green can.) I also added a piece of bacon. Because everything is better with bacon. It was delicious!
My husband says these are the best scallops he’s ever eaten! They certainly were fast and easy! I sprinkled some shredded Parmesan cheese on top for some “garnish”. I could eat that cream sauce with a straw!
