Followed it to a T. Used Brioche Bread and added Blackberry Compote. I used 6 pieces of bread and used all the mixture. Not sure this could coat all 12 pieces of bread. But I did thoroughly saturate the bread which I have never done before. Excellent!!

Just like I remembered. I added Cheddar Cheese. I think you can double the salt and pepper. But that's me. My wife said they were perfect.

Just Perfect.

Made this exactly like the recipe. It had an unusual texture and after taste. It was light but then really gritty afterward. Hard to describe. I also made Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread. Hands down the winner between these two recipes.

I used Florida Seafood Seasonings Garlic Butter Crab and Shrimp Boil (Available on Amazon). I triple the water to make sure it was not too spicy for my wife. It did not need to be watered down that much. Everything was incredible.
