I admit that while making it the dough doesn't look like a standard dough, but I made no changes and they came out great! I used a regular spoon with some flour on it to get the dough into the muffin tins and if you just round it at the top they came out very pretty!
I don't understand why people are saying this is too oily. I made this for my husband last night and it was delicious. We cut the recipe in half and I didn't have any cayenne and it still came out great.
I made this for my husband's birthday and he loved it. I made it with a graham cracker crust out of personal preference but then followed the recipe exactly. The filling does not go all the way up but I prefer it that way. It is the perfect balance of sweetness for the fruit and the fruit covers it up so you don't even notice. It was so simple to make and looks beautiful. I will definitely make it again!
