I loved this recipe. I took the advice of a few other commenters and mixed the apples with some flour and then with the sauce before putting them in. I used an egg wash for the crust but rather than sprinkling with just sugar I used a 3/4 sugar 1/4 cinnamon mix. I also added more cinnamon to the sauce and a pinch of nutmeg. All in all delicious.

So good! I doubled up on the recipe as I wanted thicker biscuits and it came out delicious!

Deliciously creamy, and the right balance of sweet and strawberry. I made this for a cake that I baked for an office party and it was a hit. 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious! We used to have breakfast casserole every Christmas morning however I didn't have the recipe my grandma used. This was amazing and I highly recommend it. Now I did mix everything together instead of layering and I left out the mushrooms. Still stayed close to the original.
