These are great. I used my own pumpkin puree from a giant Halloween pumpkin. Changes made: No applesauce so I just substituted more pumpkin puree for it. Added 1 tsp vanilla. I used less sugar (I used all brown sugar) and more spices. I don't have pumpkin spice, so I just used cinnamon, ground cloves, ginger, and nutmeg. I also used toasted walnuts in the first batch. I didn't use any raisins or cranberries. 20 min was perfect baking time.

I did half butter & half vegetable oil and it was still great. There isn't a lot of liquid for the sauce so I added an extra cup of water to the sauce.

Delicious! Definitely a keeper. Used crushed tomatoes instead and green lentils as that's what I already had on hand. No zucchini or ginger.

Instead of draining it, I kept all the juices and pan seared it. Also used a lot more lemon juice. Totally delicious.

Pretty good and versatile. I just needed to add an extra cup of milk so it wouldn't be so dense.
