Supper tonight! I used this recipe as a launching point. I made the fish, but then it was a 'clean out the fridge' kind of recipe. I really liked the fish , both in the soft shells, as well as the few pieces that just ended up alone on my plate
Made this to go with the lunch today. Lots of prep to it, but worth the wait. It is definitely a heavier bread, not a light fluffy sandwich loaf. It was a great tasting bread on its own with butter, and I think it would be fabulous with a nice beef stew!
A quick soup to go with the stir-fry lunch. I did add a tad more broth and less water as I found it 'watery' at first. I love just throwing the meatballs in the broth to cook! so simple.

Happy Pi(e) Day! I made this pie as it combined two of my favorite things. Apple Pie, and Apple Crumble. I followed the recipe as is, instead of using a pie crust that I knew. The result...loved the insides of apples and crumbles, left the crust on the plate . I found the crust way too heavy with no flakiness to it at all. Next time, I would use a rust recipe I know.
a nice warm supper tonight . I did take a little liberty with the recipe and threw all the ingredients in the instant pot as a couple of reviews said the rice did not cook properly in the oven. I actually enjoyed this a lot , even though it was a very basic recipe
My husband asked for cream tuna fish on toast. Never have I made it, so I found this recipe and away we went!! He said it brought back memories of childhood at his gramma's house
