My daughter and I made these tonight and they were amazing. We did them exactly as the recipe was written. My air fryer is 1500 watt, for reference, and we cooked them for 12 minutes. Almost all of them were cooked perfectly, except the 2 largest were slightly undercooked in the middle. Next time I would do them for 13 minutes. I might also try garlic and onion powder with italian seasoning too. But these were fabulous as written!

These turned out yummy with the teriyaki sauce. Very good on top of baked potatoes. Will definitely make it again.

I really enjoyed this recipe. One of the great things about it is that you can make it your own. I didn't have garlic on hand, but I added carrots instead and also beans for protein. I know there are many who get irritated when someone changes the original recipe, but not everyone likes the same things, or maybe don't have something on hand. So to know that this is a good one where you can add or subtract and it still tastes great is important.

I've never really ate squash but since I'm trying to eat healthier I gave it a try. This was so easy! I did it as it was written, adding a cup of water to the pan. It was baked to perfection after about an hour. I added salt, pepper, butter & some brown sugar, then put under the broiler for a few. So good!

I've been making this same dish (w/less salt) for years. My Hungarian grandma used to make it when I was young. There's nothing better than eastern european comfort food! Highly recommended!
