This is really the perfect pound cake. The texture is perfect for a pound cake. The sweetness is perfect. I did use butter and not shortening. I don't keep it on hand and I wasn't going to the store at the moment. Definitely a keeper recipe.
These were really good. Super easy to make. I made one without changes and one I made a sweetened cream cheese mixture and spread it on the crust before adding the blueberries. Both were delicious. I did use store bought crust.
Delicious. I did change the peach to mango. Grocery pickup mixup. It happens and it was amazing. Recipe is great, flavors balanced nicely. I'm sure the peach and pineapple is also amazing. Perfect amount of sweetness. Awesome way to end a hot summer day.
This ice cream is amazing. Rich, cream and oh so chocolatey. I didn't melt the chocolate chips in the microwave. Just threw them into the hot liquid and whisked until they had melted. We didn't wait long after it was done in the ice cream maker to eat it. The rest was put into the freezer. Stayed creamy and scoopable. When I've made ice cream in the past it always turned into a brick. Definitely will be making this again
