I am not a fan of canned green beans so I bought fresh green beans and steamed them. Made recipe as written. Very goodI will bring everyday for lunch hope it works
I did as other reviewer, doubled the spices and added 4 carrots instead of 2. I added 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes and 3 cans of chicken broth. 3 cups of water or as needed. I used roasted garlic 4 cloves. Kale in place of spinach. I also added diced cooked chicken and cooked pasta. I used balsamic as others suggested. A great hearty soup
