I used the slow cooker function on my instapot aura pro multicooker. They took longer and the texture was off .I think it was the multicooker.

These scotch eggs were very easy to make and they came out delicious. I used Jimmy Dean sausage regular flavor ( I like jimmy dean because of the flavor and the package has premeasured marks to cut through the package, rinse and dry the package before cutting through it and use a sharp knife ). I also used plain bread crumbs with a tablespoon of italian seasoning. If you want a little thicker bread you can roll the sausage covered hard boiled egg in bread crumbs then egg then breadcrumbs again. These took about 26 minutes in my oven. My entire family including my picky 10 year old LOVED them and asked me to make them again tomorrow. My husband liked his with mustard.

Chef johns roasted butternut squash soup was wonderful.watch the size of your onion and carrot when chopping theyll need to be large enough to withstand cooking with the squash. I actually cooked them on a seperate sheet then combined all ingredients. This soup has all the great roasted flavors and was very savory. I had my doubts about my 9 year old liking it but she loved it and ate it quickly. I did omit the apple cider vinegar and our soup was wonderfully thick...we loved it. This will get added to my soup recipes.

This baked butternut squash is wonderful. Adjust your bake time depending on the size of your squash. Keep an eye on the amount of water in the pan.

This chocolate dump cake was easy and delicious. When i used aldi cake mix and pudding it came out a little saltier then i expected but it wasnt a waste. I will make this dump cake again. This cake stayed moist even after nearly a week.

This recipe was great. My family doesnt like super sweet amd our apples were sweet so i reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup ( i figured i could add more at the end if it wasnt sweet enough but i cant take it away if its too sweet) and the allspice to 1 tsp. I omitted the cinnamon due to a family members allergy. This cider turned out fabulous, it was easy to make. This cider made my home smell wonderful and is so delicious cold or slightly warmed. I would recomend that you strain twice with a strainer then once with cheesecloth i got 2 -16 oz bottles of cider from 11 apples. I used a variety of apples mostly from my fridge that were starting to wrinkle. Use the leftover cooked down apples to make apple sauce or apple butter. This recipe is a keeper and ill pop some in my freezer for sore throat season.
