You never know what you’re going to find when you browse Courteney Cox’s Instagram account. It may be a photo of a few of her favorite “Friends.” It may be the celebrity and her dog drinking this summer’s hottest shake, the Grimace Shake. Frequently, it’s Courteney in the kitchen—baking “the best damn cookies” or trying Brandi Carlile’s recipe for coffee-truffle steak and admitting it’s better than her own favorite steak recipe.

Whatever she’s up to, the actor best known for her “Friends” role as Monica Geller always has fun. Recently, she was back in the kitchen, sharing on Instagram what she calls “Homemade (kinda) gluten free, chocolate, peanut butter pretzel crisps.” “Kinda” refers to the homemade part, not the gluten-free part.

We all know chocolate and peanut butter are a winning combination. Costco’s fan-favorite Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and the classic Reese’s Cups are certainly evidence of that. Add pretzels to the mix, and you have a sweet-and-salty lover's dream. Reese’s understands that: It even has a pretzel version.

Courteney understands that, too. But she follows a gluten-free diet and decided to create her own chocolate-peanut butter pretzels using Snack Factory Gluten-Free Pretzel Crisps.

How to Make Courteney Cox’s Chocolate-Peanut Butter Pretzel Crisps

Her recipe uses just three ingredients: Snack Factory Gluten Free Pretzels, a bar of Hu Salty Dark Chocolate, and peanut butter. While we don't have the exact measurements, we think it's pretty easy to wing it. Here’s how to make her quick and easy three-ingredient snack:

  1. Spread out pretzel crisps on a plate or baking sheet. (We suggest first lining it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.)
  2. Melt a few squares of chocolate in the microwave.
  3. Drizzle some of the melted chocolate on the pretzels.
  4. Add peanut butter to the melted chocolate. (The video doesn’t show it, but we suspect she puts the peanut butter and melted chocolate back into the microwave for a few seconds to make it easy to stir together.)
  5. Drizzle the peanut butter-chocolate mixture on the pretzels (she drizzled it on just half of them).
  6. Refrigerate until the chocolate has hardened, about five minutes.

Courteney says these are “the greatest thing in the world.” Whether they truly are the greatest thing in the world is for you to decide for yourself. We’re curious to put them up against Rolo-Ritz Sandwiches, two-ingredient treats that are also part salty, part sweet.
