Ingredients

  • 32 okra pods

  • 32 grape tomatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt-free Cajun seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Soak 8 (8-inch) wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

  2. Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat (400 to 450 degrees F (200 to 230 degrees C)). Lightly oil grill.

  3. Thread 4 okra pods and 4 grape tomatoes onto each soaked skewer. Stir together Cajun seasoning and canola oil in a small bowl; brush onto okra and tomatoes. Sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.

  4. Grill vegetable skewers, turning halfway through, until okra is bright green and tender and grill marks form, 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer okra and tomatoes from skewers into a serving bowl.
