Katherine grew up in California’s Napa Valley, where she inherited a foundational appreciation for agriculture and a passion for good food. Before coming to Dotdash Meredith, she worked as a reporter in Honolulu, spent time as a freelance writer specializing in travel and sustainable design, and covered food insecurity for a nonprofit magazine. She also worked in the restaurant industry for more than a decade. When she’s not writing or editing, you can usually find her cooking at home, planning her next travel excursion, or with her nose in a novel.

I've used the Cosori Electric Gooseneck Kettle (featured on our Best Electric Kettles roundup) almost daily for over two years. I love that I can set specific temperatures depending on what type of tea I'm brewing, and the matte black design looks great on my kitchen counter.
