This maple bourbon glaze is great on just about anything. Brushed on chicken, fish, or pork chops, it’s especially good when grilling, but also when baking. You can even use it on carrots or mixed greens.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup bourbon whiskey

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Directions

  1. Place maple syrup, bourbon, brown sugar, butter, apple cider vinegar, and mustard in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer until thick and syrupy, stirring frequently, about 25 minutes.
