Outback's Holiday Menu Features a New Twist on the Bloomin' Onion

As the calendar changes to November, it feels like all of a sudden the holidays are around the corner. And while you may spend time preparing for a Thanksgiving feast at home, sometimes you need an evening with family where none of you have to cook. 

Lucky for you, Outback has a new holiday menu available for a limited time that will solve all your everyone-is-sick-of-cooking blues in a delicious way. According to Brett Patterson, President of Outback Steakhouse, “Some of the best holiday memories are made at the dinner table…That’s why we encourage our guests to take their aprons off, put their ugly sweaters on and let us take care of the rest.”

What’s New on Outback Steakhouse’s Holiday Menu

Starting Nov. 1, Outback is spreading “Steakmas cheer” with its Steakmas Season Menu that combines classic Outback items with new innovations. The new items include a Bone-In Ribeye with Bourbon Onion, Bloomin’ French Onion Sirloin, and a Chocolate Tower.

The Bone-In Ribeye with Bourbon Onion features a juicy 18-ounce bone-in ribeye as well as the same massive onions you know and love from the iconic Bloomin’ Onion. The ribeye is topped with an onion caramelized with Jim Beam bourbon as well as bacon and roasted garlic butter. And of course, your steak dinner isn’t complete without a steakhouse potato and your choice of side.

The Bloomin’ French Onion Sirloin is a steak-ified mashup of the French Onion Soup and the Bloomin’ Onion. It features a center-cut sirloin capped with melty Provolone cheese and Bloomin’ Onion petals as well as a French Onion Soup broth you can pour over the top or dip your onion petals into. This steak dinner is likewise served with a steakhouse potato and your choice of side.

Finally, you can finish your meal with a decadent Chocolate Tower made with a six-layer chocolate cake topped with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and raspberry sauce.

If you prefer your holiday flavors to come in a sip-able fashion, the steakhouse has you covered. The Gingerbread Cookie Martini and Smoked Cinnamon Pecan Old Fashioned are both back on the holiday season menu. But remember, these cocktails are once-a-year treats at Outback—they’ll be gone after the holidays are over.

Rounding out the holiday menu are a few Outback classics for those who prefer the familiarity of reliable faves. Bloomin’ Fried Shrimp, Steakhouse Mac & Cheese Bites, Kingsland Pasta, and Wedge Salad are great on their own or as an accompaniment to one of the new items.
