Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) bag mixed field greens

  • 1 Bosc pear, cored and sliced

  • ½ cup sliced red onion (Optional)

  • ½ cup chopped candied pecans

  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • cup apple cider vinegar

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • ¼ cup walnut oil

Directions

  1. Place salad greens in a large bowl. Add pear, red onion, pecans, and blue cheese; toss to combine.

  2. Place mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a blender; blend thoroughly. With the motor running, pour in walnut oil in a slow, steady stream. Blend until dressing becomes creamy, about 1 minute. Pour over salad; toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
