Ingredients

  • ½ onion, chopped

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 ½ cups milk

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 2 (12 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained

  • 2 ½ tablespoons cream cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Recipe Tip

Try adding a chopped green chile pepper sautéed in the initial onion mixture, or stir in some small slices of chicken.
